In June of 2016 suspected ISIS terrorist Abdurahman Yasin Daud was found guilty on three counts : conspiracy to murder outside the United States, conspiracy to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization and attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. The prosecution proved that he was an active participant in a plan to travel to Syria, join ISIS and engage in fighting n their behalf. In addition he was found guilty of sharing and promoting ISIS propaganda videos and literature to help recruit new ISIS members. (justice.gov/Archive)
